TRIBOARD
™
In reality, Triboard can be tailored to customer's
requirements. The strand core and fibre surfaces can each be configured
according to thickness, density, resin type and resin loading to meet
specific end use requirements. Triboard is pressed in one integrated pressing process and can
be made in a variety of thickness' ranging from 10mm up to 100mm.
The combination of a
hard fibre surface and dimensionally stable strand core results in a unique
engineered wood product, which has diverse end uses. Triboard is used for panel construction
for housing and apartment buildings with up to 90 minute fire rated
inter-tenancy walls. All walls, interior and perimeter, ceilings, flooring
and doors, are made from the product. Panels used range in thickness from
32mm to 45mm. This proven up market construction methodology has many
advantages over conventional construction methods. Triboard, with its outstanding screw
holding and stability of the strand core together with the paintable smooth
fibre surface is particularly suited to this application. Termicide Treated Triboard
(TTT) is now
available in a range of thicknesses. Please refer to Other Applications A significant specialty
application for Triboard is a 15 minute, 30 minute and 60 minute fire doors. Other applications
include theatre flooring, demountable partitions, access flooring tiles and
shelving etc. Of note are its acclaimed use for large production movie sets,
quality pallet bases, basketball court floors, squash court walls and floors,
and professional table tennis tables. Triboard is currently exported to
